About Sangamon Valley Hemp Products LLC

Sangamon Valley Hemp Products offers locally-grown and organic CBD hemp flowers (cannabidiol) from our farm in Sherman, Illinois in the Central Illinois region.

Sitting around in a barn one fall day, we started to throw around the idea of growing industrial hemp. In early 2020, our partnership Sangamon Valley Hemp Products LLC was formed.

We started our hemp crop from seeds and tendered carefully each day. We spent hours on our hands and knees placing each of nearly 3,000 plants into the ground. With the help of timely rains, we grew a successful crop.

Each plant was individually tended to, trimmed and cured. Our journey is a work of family, friendship and heart to produce quality organic hemp.

We offer 2 varieties of CBD hemp flowers:

"Cherry Wine"

  • Cherry Wine hemp crosses two high-CBD strains (The Wife and Charlotte's Cherries).
  • Aroma: sweet cherry with hints of cheese and black pepper.
  • Features high CBD and less than 1% THC.

"Siskiyou Gold"

  • Named after the Siskiyou mountain range in Southern Oregon and Northern California.
  • Siskiyou Gold hemp has golden and bright buds dripping in resin.
  • Aroma: fruity and earthy.
  • Features high CBD and very low delta-9-THC - energizing!
